Btw, the main reason I'm trying to uninstall is to see if I can solve two other problems with teams: 1 I have a badge on chat that always shows 1 unread message even though I have none the web app shows none correctly 2 I can't launch the desktop app clicking on links.

Hi Rocket04, Thanks for the update. Your patience and understanding are be highly appreciated. If you downloaded the stand-alone Microsoft Teams app, you can uninstall it as you would remove any program from Windows.

However, if you have Microsoft Office installed on your system, the Teams Machine-Wide Installer automatically restores the app when you reboot Windows. Right-click the Windows 10 Start menu and select Settings. Select Apps in the Windows Settings.

Select Microsoft Teams in the search results and then select Uninstall. Select Uninstall again to confirm the deletion.
